“Navajo Landscape” Gown
A breathtaking fusion of art, technology, and tradition, the Navajo Landscape Gown captures the serene beauty of the desert horizon in flowing, sculptural form. The voluminous poly-nylon skirt features a digitally warped print of a photograph by Haiden R. Gould, transformed through collaborative design with Margeaux Abeyta, Patricia Michaels, and students from IAIA and FIT. The result is a visual narrative of landscape and movement—where nature’s rhythm meets couture craftsmanship.
The gown is paired with a 100% silk, hand-painted wrap, offering versatile styling that allows the wearer to express individuality with every drape and tie. Together, the ensemble embodies a dialogue between earth and innovation, grounded in Indigenous artistry and elevated through contemporary fashion design.
